The Process
INTEGRA provides several relevant services as part of the Risk and Reliability Analysis.
- Optimum gasket type, material and dimensions
- Determination of whether the flange/bolt/nut materials are suitable for the particular application
- Temperature effects: Relaxation and decreased yield limits for flange and bolt material
- Optimum bolt load
- Minimum required gasket assembly stress and resulting bolt load to sustain online operating conditions using the PVRC 'Gasket Factor' method.
- Amount of flange rotation resulting from bolt load and operating conditions.
