High-energy steam piping systems frequently operate at temperature in excess of 900oF and are exposed to variable support loading as a result of unit thermal cycling. This routinely results in increased system stresses, permanent creep deformation and reduced system operating life with steam leaks and major failure possible.
INTEGRA has proven methods and tooling to now measure piping and spring hanger loads in-situ and under plant operating conditions. This load testing will identify load conditions and any further evaluations that may need to be performed (i.e. NCT, “As Exists” stress analysis)
