Turnaround on Critical Service Exchangers

Problem: Leaking Heat Exchangers

Summary: INTEGRA supplied manpower and equipment to breakout and makeup E1 and E2 exchangers.  INTEGRA used Hydraulic Bolt Torquing to break loose the studs on the channel to shell and floating head connections.  Once the tubes were pulled and cleaned, INTEGRA lubricated the studs and nuts and then made up the exchangers using their Bolt Torquing method, they then followed up with their ECHO™ Ultrasonic Unit to verify a uniformed load was achieved on each stud.

Result: INTEGRA completed their portion of the work on time and provided a service that achieved No Leaks on the CHD-2 Exchangers.

The solution for this application utilized the following technologies:

All of the above coordinated through the FlangeTrak® Leak Prevention process.
